Industrialization

A great design is only as good as its ability to be manufactured. The decisions made during this phase are crucial to controlling costs and ensuring your product's success. That’s why we put a special focus on industrialization, ensuring your product is not just designed to impress, but also designed to be produced efficiently and cost-effectively.

As we enter the industrialization phase, every aspect of your production line is prepared. We collaborate with European facilities, renowned for their state-of-the-art capabilities and commitment to quality. Our partners meet ISO standards and excel in specialized areas like medical devices ISO 13485, environmental management ISO 14001 and information security ISO 27001. With IPC-A-610 & 620 certification for electronics assembly, we ensure your product is built to perfection.

Early manufacturing involvement

From the start of the engineering phase, we focus on the ultimate goal: delivering a high-quality product to your warehouse, ready for market. But how do we ensure that the products we design can be cost-effectively manufactured and meet the highest quality standards? We believe in early manufacturing involvement. By collaborating closely with our suppliers, we conduct key reviews throughout and after the design process to guarantee success:

Design process

Design for Manufacturing (DfM): We analyze and optimize PCBA design files early to maximize product quality and production yield.

Design for Assembly (DfA): We fine-tune PCBA designs to optimize assembly processes and reduce costs.

Design for Test (DfT): We enhance test access and coverage by optimizing the product design.

Bill of Materials Review: We evaluate component lifecycles, identify critical lead times, find alternatives, and prepare risk-buy proposals to ensure availability and speed up time-to-market.

Box Build Review: We analyze the supply chain, assembly process, and serviceability to streamline the final build.

Precision you can trust

We craft a tailored test strategy for your product, ensuring quality and minimizing risks. During the Industrialization phase, we design and build custom Functional Test Equipment (FCT) to validate each PCBA's functionality. Each function is rigorously tested using our proprietary Zign Test Framework (ZTF), with real-time data storage for programming microcontrollers, validating communication modules, and running sensor self-tests. This meticulous approach guarantees that every unit meets your exacting standards.

Compliance & Certification

Navigating certification can be daunting. We simplify the process by guiding you through applicable directives, selecting the right notified body, and ensuring all technical documentation is in order. Our expert support minimizes testing failures, avoids costly rework, and speeds up your market launch.

Pilot Run: The final countdown to perfection

The pilot run is your product's final dress rehearsal before mass production. This small-scale production, ranging from a few dozen to a few hundred units, is made under the exact conditions of full-scale manufacturing. It’s the culmination of your product development journey, where every component, process, and system converges.

During this pivotal phase, the pilot run serves multiple purposes:

Verification Testing: Ensures specifications and system integrations are spot-on.

Validation Testing: Includes field and client acceptance tests.

Marketing: Provides samples for promotional activities.

Certification: Helps meet necessary standards.

This is where everything comes together to guarantee your product is ready for the spotlight.
