In 5 phases we develop products from concept to manufacturing. Each phase realize clear deliverables that lead to the project outcome. The approach focuses on reducing risks early in the process while keeping initial investments low. As development risks reduces, the investment risks also reduces. Therefore, major investments are pushed towards the end of the process as much as possible. Within the phases, we work scrum based in a three-week heartbeat.
Every step of our process, from initial concept to final delivery, is driven by our documented Quality Management System (ISO 9001 & 13485 certified.

Manufacturing
At the start of a product development project, ideas are still taking shape. With market insights, customer needs and perhaps a prototype, we turn concepts into reality.
Concept design
The goal of this phase is to define the product clearly and feasibly. "Clear" means explicit product requirements; "feasible" means these requirements can be technically met within the business case constraints. Technical challenges are addressed through research and proof of concepts. By phase end, we establish the high-level solution architecture, identify key risks, and detail the plan for the next phase.
System design
During the design phase, we refine the high-level solution architecture for both hardware and software. For hardware, this involves detailed design with schematics, component selection, and considerations for integration, EMC, and testing, all standardized through templates and peer reviews. In software, we develop the architecture based on product requirements, defining functionality, interfaces, and data flow, leading to a high-level application design without producing code.
Implementation
During the development phase, the design is refined from a basic PCB to a final prototype within its housing, adhering to design rules, a test plan, and requirements. This phase includes EMC and climate testing, with real-time collaboration with industrial design partners.
Multiple prototype iterations are peer-reviewed and tested for quality. In software, development follows three-week sprints using a scrum framework, translating the architecture into prioritized, peer-reviewed features tested through Continuous Integration (CI) to ensure quality and deliver maximum value to the customer.
Industrialization
A design is not a good design if it cannot be manufactured. Choices about manufacturing are an important cost driver for your final product. To make your product as successful as possible, manufacturing requires special focus, which we cover with industrialization.
Industrialization involves all activities that are needed to transfer a product design to manufacturing.
Manufacturing
Product development and successful transfer to manufacturing is all about collaboration. Throughout the years we have build partnerships with a selective number of suppliers, who are not only capable in their field of expertise, but also have shown the ability to work successfully together on the most challenging projects.
